By accessing or using RadPreps ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

RadPreps is a gamified exam preparation platform designed for radiology and medical imaging professionals. The Platform provides:

• Practice quiz questions for certification exams (ARDMS, CAMRT, ARRT, Sonography Canada, CCI)
• Exam mode and CPD (Continuous Professional Development) mode
• Gamification features: XP, gems, streaks, quests, leagues, leaderboards
• Social features: feed, likes, follows, duels
• Referral program and premium subscription options

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3.2 Account Restrictions

You may not:

• Create multiple accounts or share accounts with others
• Use another user's account without permission
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Sell, transfer, or assign your account to another party

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Copy, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display quiz questions or content without authorization
• Use automated tools (bots, scripts, scrapers) to access or interact with the Platform
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform, other users' accounts, or our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation or servers
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or any harmful content
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Post spam, offensive, or inappropriate content on the feed
• Manipulate the gamification system (XP, gems, leagues) through cheating or exploitation
• Share or distribute your referral code in ways that violate anti-spam laws

5. Premium Subscriptions

5.1 Subscription Terms

Premium subscriptions provide access to enhanced features including:

• Unlimited hearts (no energy system)
• Ad-free experience
• Priority support
• Exclusive gems bonuses
• Additional CPD resources

5.2 Billing and Cancellation

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You can cancel anytime through your account settings or Stripe portal
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds for partial billing periods
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice

6. Gamification and Virtual Currency

6.1 XP, Gems, and Hearts

XP, gems, hearts, and other virtual currencies/items:

• Have no real-world monetary value
• Cannot be exchanged for cash or real-world goods
• May be adjusted, modified, or removed at our discretion
• Are non-transferable between accounts
• May be forfeited if your account is terminated for violations

6.2 Leagues and Rankings

League placements, leaderboards, and rankings are calculated automatically. We reserve the right to:

• Adjust league algorithms and tier requirements
• Reset rankings for new seasons
• Disqualify users who violate fair play rules
• Investigate and reverse fraudulent activity

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Content

All content on the Platform, including quiz questions, explanations, images, software, design, and trademarks, is owned by RadPreps or our licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission
• Create derivative works based on our content
• Remove copyright or proprietary notices

7.2 User Content

By posting content on the feed or interacting with the Platform, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content for operating and promoting the Platform.

8. Referral Program

Our referral program allows you to invite others and earn rewards:

• Both referrer and referee receive 100 gems upon successful signup
• Referrals must be genuine new users (not duplicate or fake accounts)
• We reserve the right to revoke rewards for fraudulent referrals
• Do not spam or use deceptive practices to promote referrals
• Referral rewards may be modified or discontinued at any time

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:

• That the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of content
• That using the Platform will guarantee exam success
• That quiz questions will exactly match certification exams

RadPreps is a supplemental study tool and should not be your sole exam preparation resource.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RadPreps SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, or use
• Damages exceeding the amount you paid us in the past 12 months

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior
• Remain inactive for an extended period

You may delete your account at any time through account settings. Upon termination, your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction]. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or small claims court, waiving the right to a jury trial or class action.
